Take two top sections on either side of the head, where you want to create the cat ears. Tie the sections into ponytails and secure them with elastic bands. Using a crafting wire, tie a braid with the ponytail and secure the end. Use enough wire as necessary. Then, mould the braid into a triangle shape and secure it to the top of the head. Voila, cat ears are ready!

Note: When using the crafting wire, bend the wire across a metal rod or say a screw driver and twist the wire, all the way till the end. This makes sure that the wire stays stiffer, easier to control and the pointy ends will be away from the scalp of your girl’s hair. Crafting wires can be obtained from any arts and crafts store.

B) Nonwire Method:

Materials Required:

  • Few elastic bands.
  • Bobby pins.
